Mariusz Koziełstudied at the K. Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the Organ Class of Dr. Hab. W. Zaborny, which he graduated with distinction in 2022 in the Organ Class of Dr. Hab. K. Lukas. He took part in master classes (including professors: J. Gembalski, D. Roth, P. van Dijk, T. Escaich, L. Ghielmi). He is the winner of the 2nd prize at the J. P. Sweelinck International Organ Competition in Gdańsk (2021), the 3rd prize at the R. Sroczyński Academic Organ Competition in Poznań (2020) and the 1st prize at the international organ competition in Rumia (2018). He is also a winner of composition competitions (Wejherowo, Żory).
Wind5Quintet consists of soloists from the Łódź Philharmonic and the Grand Theatre in Łódź, as well as teachers from the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź. The band has released over a dozen albums by prestigious record labels. The artists actively promote Polish music in Poland and abroad. In 2022, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they celebrated Poland's takeover of the chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) with a concert in Vienna. As soloists and chamber musicians, they have premiered many pieces, and many compositions are dedicated to them, often inspired by them.
